Hi, I’m Karen — wedding photographer, wife, mum, step-mum, and a lifelong photo and travel obsessive.
I’m based in Hilltown, just outside Newry in County Down, and I photograph weddings across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. My approach is part documentary-led, focusing on real moments as they unfold, paired with relaxed, guided portraits that feel natural rather than posed.
With over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of photographing countless love stories, each one completely unique. I balance honest, candid moments with beautifully crafted portraits — creating images that feel genuine, timeless, and a little bit cinematic.
Weddings are wild, wonderful days — full of love, nerves, stories, and moments you’ll talk about for years. I’m there to catch it all: the big laughs, the quiet glances, the chaos, and those gorgeous portraits you’ll treasure long after the day is over.
A lot of couples tell me the same thing: “We’re not great in front of the camera.”
That’s completely fine — you don’t need to be. My job is to make things feel easy, keep things moving, and help you enjoy your day while I take care of the photos, another reason why I include a complimentary pre-wedding photoshoot, to use it as a little practice and also to get to know each other to ease any worries before the big day itself.
